- Product Description: Okay, so the story behind this tee is twofold. The first explanation can be found in the "I Read Books," by Dave Carnie, so you'll have to buy his deck to read that particular one. The second can be found in our FUQS, but I know you can't be bothered to go read that so here's the general gist with probably a few made up details since I didn't witness the scenario firsthand: Chri$ Nieratko once walked into the Big Brother magazine office wearing some shirt with either Hunter S. Thompson or Charles Bukowski on it. Jeff Tremaine took one look at him—I once thought it was Carnie, but Dave's memory insists it was Tremaine, not him, and I should probably correct that in the FUQS—and said, "Why don't you just wear a shirt that says 'I Read Books'?" So, 20 odd years later, we finally made that shirt. —Cliver
